I know there aren't many cadbros here, but let's try.
Is there any smart way in solidworks I can emboss this emblem on a rounded surface, in such a way, that it's circular in cross-section? With wrap you can only get this hard edged emboss, and trying to fillet something like this is ridiculous.

circular in cross-section? At every section of this shape? I doubt.
You could get somewhat close with variable fillet, but you have to adjust values at every point.
Another option is full face fillet, but I seriously doubt it will work. You might need to cut it in 4 parts and even then you'd have to fix edges.
Recreating the whole shape with lofts and other surfaces might get you good results, but a bit of pain to do.
Have you tried Dome? It might work.

Yeah, I think lofts are the only sensible way to get it perfect, but like you said, a pain.
Alternatively, I think I might convert the project into rhino and try there, it allows a bit more creativity with funky shapes.

Hove you tried dome- continuous ? You might need to clean up a shape a bit before that (it doesn't look very nice), but more I think about it, that one should work?

Doesn't give the option to use continuous once the shapes have been wrapped on the curved surface.
