by tracing the works of talented animators -
seems that was the artist's intention anyways - anything SFM is youtube poop tier media -
and that's a good thing

This one felt like a considerable step down on quality over the original Pootis Engage. Still nether than the average SFM animation, though.

It's as if the software choice doesn't matter as much as the animators skill, hmmm...

Looks like it was done in Blender, pretty cool use of black lines.

sick animation but also god i love ken ashcorp
i didn't realize he reactivated his twitter so i thought he was just somewhere in the void every time he's working on a song, possibly to never return. it was nice to see he commented on the video

That was intensely stupid in all the best and most entertaining ways.
Really good shit. Great fundamentals. I saw maybe two, three whole seconds of animation that looked like it wasn't hitting the mark the animator was going for.
That's impressive.

It's also cool seeing the increase in quality from the first one. Also neat to see how he faked physics in sfm with crumbling walls by rendering the animation in another program to make an animation set, basically what they did in hl2 with the massive crumbling buildings

This shows that
1: Not every part of the animation needs to have high frame rate
2: Lighting and effects is very important to make something look good
