is there a 3d animation equivalent of the donut tutorial? the guy's way of explaining makes my dick shrink into itself and I'm almost 100% sure I'll never model something and just import SFM models

You learn animation by actively doing it. Just like mathematics, the groundwork from those who have come before you have already sorted out the principles to achieve this. It is up to you to put them into effect though.

For animation you just need to learn what the tools in the program do. Then look at fundamentals of animation and motion in general.

Sorry i totally misread your message OP.
Animation equivalent....first thought comes to mind is Dillon Goo. Hes known for fight scenes in RWBY vol 3 and the Katsu Cats animations using blender. He made some tutorials via Blender Foundation i believe.
He has a popular discord server called GooCord, filled with blender animators.
