You can spin it anyway you want it's replicating sp stuff which puts it in sp competition. It also can't do anything sp can't also do so they are in competition purely because sp can replace it and has more options

They made it in Unity, then Epic bought them. I can guarantee you the slow development is because most of the devs are working on porting it over to Unreal.

We'll see what happens after that.
