Does Nomura do any of the 3D art/modeling for his characters? Or is he just the illustrator and designer?
Just curious, I saw he did a pretty good 3D Hatsune Miku once but I wonder if he actually modelled her

He does stuff for Play Arts Kai
Like you mentioned, he did Hatsune Miku, Darth Vader, Batman and Joker and etc.

His FFXI interviews says he was hired to do debugging on FFIV, then went into creature design, then went into character design. I find it hard to believe he has the time to 3D model on top of producing and directing Kingdom Hearts titles.
