So they sell on CG trader the files only through an editorial license that I get, but what's with the risky descriptions?
>If you are looking for a commercial license for our models, it is only necessary that you join our Patreon, with that you can market the printed models without limit.
There's no way these Argentinians got the expensive and exclusive merchandising rights from these anime companies. Sure they're not going to get outed by retarded crybaby mutts on polycount or unity who moralize about piracy = grand theft auto and think IP is sacred should stifle creativity and physical property rights, but Pink is in top ten of adult patreon 3d printers. Can someone make sense of this?

the studios decided it's not worth finding their addresses to send a c&d and dmca is not a thing in japan so japanese boomer lawyers dont make a claim

Kek I love it. If it were up the the self-righteous brainlets, everything would be trademarked and even physically sculpted interpretation (THAT YOU MADE) of some character wouldn't be considered your property. Everyone would just have to be wagecuck serf and there would be artificial scarcity imposed on niche merchandise which may not even end up existing at all.
>make something original
Nothing is original. Every new invention is using a template or previously existing technology and making a modification to it. History remember the patent holders who pull an Edison.

Nobody cares about it as long as you change the name and modify the character in some minor ways (not like anime characters are that unique anyway).
It's when you actually say that it's the same character that it becomes a problem.

They're using their full names and linking a youtube clip featuring the character in its respective anime. Then there's a popular Australian STL for cosplay merchant that outright says its products are from a specific video game or wherever.. The worst that happens sometimes is that a company asks the marketplace to remove it and the unlucky seller gets their account terminated.

Holy fuck these look like absolute dog shit.
Also yeah most Japanese studios don't care that much about their IP as long as you're a hobbyist, that's why Comiket is still a thing. But if these guys are making bank on patreon then it's probably a matter of time until they get a C&D.

Just spend some time to browse around the top sellers. You'll get an eyeful. One man's trash is another's treasure.

While you're at it $19 for this pop can from on of the top designers or $50 for the whole set.

its only alright if its in comiket or a hobby. But if you're commercializing it then it becomes a slightly gray area.
Theres a lot of people who sell anime models that got C&D for selling it without limit and threatened with a lawsuit.
