It's a software to generate 3D models of anime characters.
You can adjust most body characteristics with sliders and it has a bunch of preset options.
But it has a bad rep because to deviate out of the presets you have to be good at texturing or it will look like shit.

koikatsu is a game, you have to rip the models to use them, and you don't have commercial rights
vroid is GPL and expressly made for this; that said you're a lot more limited than if you made the model yourself in a real 3D program
