Hello! How can I stop having issues with modeling low poly?
I've tried many things but it seems others are leaving me behind.
Starting from legs, head, chest, nothing seems to work, I've wasted a ridiculous amount of time on this.

What's the issue? you just need to add arms and then texture it, the body shape is there.
for the hair, just follow the silhouette references from the front and the side, low poly hair doesn't have to be very good.
this isn't Dr. Doom again, is it?

The issue is that I feel it should be better, I don't like how simple it looks compared to other low poly models. What should I do?
And I don't like Marvel.

Don't fall for the low poly meme, learn sculpting and anatomy, then retopologize your high poly to your desired poly count.

It'd help if you took a look at models that are in the style youd like to replicate, get a good look at their topology and the shapes they use. It's slow going but something will click if you keep trying, try not to lose hope anon.

Go to models resource and take a look at lowpoly console models, stuff like playstation 1 or dreamcast or even gamecube stuff for relatively low poly models. Just find some you like and see how they get the shapes they want.

It's alright for a first try. Since you're new to modeling, and I presume new to this board, I would strongly suggest you never post here again. A lot of people on here who complain about other people's anatomy skills can't actually sculpt an anatomically accurate model themselves, so they take out their frustrations on people who manage to get somewhere, especially if they're less experienced. Some of them do know what they're talking about, but their skill in modeling is the only thing that makes them valuable as a person, so they like to tear other people down. Go get critiques on any other website, because people there will actually want to help you.

For a different try on character modeling, search up a tutorial on skin modifier modeling based on vertices and lines. It's a different-- and for me, simpler-- workload than the typical cube extrusion method.

Pro tip: MOSTLY forget vertice selection while doing the cube extrusion method. Face and edge manipulation is a cleaner method for more decent topology.

Thanks to everyone, this is what I have so far, it's a decent base with huge arms but that's to text some separate textures.
I have a different issue now, I tried using shaders with it and I plan to use those but they really dont work with such low poly assets, what can I do, should I make medium poly model? Since im starting out I dont know if it might work
