Will learning drawing improve my 3D skills?

Anonymous No. 908537

Yes, yes now gtfo and go to /ic/
While you are at it learn photography, sculpting, woodworking, diy, etc, etc.
Doesn't matter if you can work in blender, you lack artistic skill. I don't have to tell you why. Figure it out yourself, chud.

Make sure you learn the list below as well

>gesture
>dynamic figure drawing
>form, proportions, construction
>composition
>silhouette
>values, color, lighting
>anatomy
>perspective
>marketing social media
>social skills
>public speaking

I spend most of my time on a public wolf trapper website sharing tips&tricks, does that qualify me for this one?

what should i learn if i want to learn how to draw humans, but in heavy sci fi armor so that only their face is exposed and often helmeted. I assume I wont need much anatomy.

Learning anatomy would still be beneficial since sci-fi armor is based around human (and sometimes animal) anatomy, and it needs to be able to fit on a person properly. Think about the pectorals on a clone trooper's armor, or even the way the arm and leg armor are shaped. Mastering anatomy is one thing, but at least learning the basics can take you a long way, and it's not quite as hard as you might think if you study effectively.
