Everything takes so long to do in /3dcg/ that you can work at it everyday for 15 years and barely scratch the surface. This is why we're better than /ic/. Do you agree?

I don't think about /ic/ at all, perhaps you should go back

There is no skill ceiling when it comes to mastery for any kind of art. Be it writing, music, drawing, sculpting, acting, whatever. There is always something you can do to improve and you'll always find something in your works that you're not entirely satisfied with. Isn't that right OP?

we're talking about the floor being much much wider in /3dcg/ than in /ic/

/3/cel Chuds don't work on their work for more than 25 minutes a day. They spend their entire time having software war and insulting eachothers WIP work. Despite Cris being the lolcow of this board, he has done much more than the entire population of this board ever had done.

In my opinion, it's easier to achieve a decent result in 3D, especially with things like polymodeling.
At a master level? Not sure. Sculpting realistic-looking living beings comes to mind as something that would have the potential to be the "hardest", but I disagree with you saying that it means 3D is better than 2D. They're meant to complement each other, and a skilled artist can use both to take his work to the next level.

It's ass for stills but once you have created all assets animating is bliss compared to drawn animation. Less charming though.

I have been revisiting this board from time to time for several years and never seen a single asset that impressed me. no one here is even intermediate-level, this board is unironically 90%+ beginner-level blendertards that are ngmi.
