Have u tried google? have u tried Youtube? how u tried other "places" to watch tutorial.. Do you think pianists are born with a piano and music sheet in their hands? Everything is achieved with practice. No one is born a genius.

I have and it's a mess. Is anime hair done with cards or curves now? Because if is curves I have found no easy way to make textures for them.

1. watch a few of blender gurus videos to learn the shortcuts and the VERY basics of 3D
2. learn topology, there is so much to learn and it essensial dont think you can half ass it becasue everything is based on it
3. learn how to do UVs
4. learn how to texture paint in blender/substance painter or even photoshop
5. learn rigging
6. animating
7. shading
8. lighting
9. rendering
this will take you about 3 years at least

It depends on your skill, but the fastest time to go from beginner to intermediate is about 1 year.

I did this and then they changed things a few years back and now I can't figure my way around basic modeling and gave up trying to learn it.

Let me tell you why that picture is fake, there is this program called Vroid and it basically makes the character that you see with the hair. The person did not do anywork even the clothing can be part of another plugin that turns a shape like box into what you see.
My best guess is that the person took 1 hour and typing many times in nobe blender plugin to get the look.

Vroid confirm it's part of the feature for VroidVR

It has 341k polys. Everything will look smooth with that polycount, that's my cope.
>>917404
It's not that hard, it's a blendshape with a driver linked to the camera, there are easy tutorials for that.
Or it could be a projected texture.
>>917398
>>917425
No it's not a vroid. What the hell.

It's not about the software.
What you want is to be able to understand and reproduce that anime style in whatever medium you're using, be it traditional or digital.
Can you draw that anime girl in 2D, with pencil and paper, in many different poses and "camera angles"? When you can, you'll understand how to emulate the style. Then to make her in 3D you only need to know how to use the program, NOT how to create "anime-style girl". The software/medium isn't important, the art skills & critical eye are.

Not op but thanks man, dude kiked out and deleted a lot of geometry but we can essentially see that it's mostly shading and texture work that goes into the look (the hair for the most part is are just cards). https://kemono.party/fanbox/user/15

The solidify modifier is probably for the outlines. The two subsurf modifiers are to smooth the mesh and outlines without adding to much geometry.

I see! That's interesting, I've never actually touched shaders before and only do modelling, so that's really good to know. I really want to get into shaders now, just studying this file.

Anonymous at Mon, 3 Oct 2022 14:17:21 UTC No. 920785
>>920784
anime vrchat type girls are easy
especially since youre gonna use toon shader so alot of the details wont be needed
just look up a tutorial desu there are thousands of them on youtube
Anonymous at Mon, 3 Oct 2022 17:48:36 UTC No. 920803
>>920785
actually, toon shade depends a lot on mesh to get the shading correct. so if an area is not smooth, the shader will fuck it up
