there are all kinds of proportions
proportions regarding aesthetics and proportions as practical tools - like having the new apprentice in the studio block in some hands of bodies - you can give them some functional proportions to guide them. half of the use of proportion is a guide and the actual study of anatomy doesnt necessarily have much to do with it.

however if you want to mke bodies, looking at and drawing bodies will give you a sense of proportion to hold in your mind while working.

not really sure what point youre making? that bodies are all different? they argued about that in the renaissance so what?
