It's over and the tech is only in its newborn baby stage. A few more years is nothing, the eve of corona felt like yesterday, and the geopolitical arms race will speed it up.

Seems like those blender "YT directors" were right after all, going straight into making full cinematics and outsourcing tech while learning things that AI won't be able to replace, that is - controlling a full project and having a bigger picture, storyboarding, art direction etc..
