Don't post twitter screenshots OP.
Anyway it's dream textures and atm it's only useable for very simple use cases.

How it works it takes a depth map of the camera view runs it through image to image stable diffusion and uses the projected camera view as a UV map.
It does not do multiple angles, nor does it a proper UV unwrapping.
Although more sophisticated approaches are certainly possible.

Except now it uses UV mapping

Read you guy.
Unwrapping not mapping, it has to do mapping to show any textures at all.
There is a feature branch called "multi-view-projection" is suppose and it that does what you ought to expect it to that might be going in the direction where it can do whole meshes.
I mean coming up with a scheme to view the mesh from several directions and send that to SD should be trivial.
The harder parts will be coming up with a scheme to segment the mesh and get SD to be self consistent between views.

Does anyone on this board care about AI art? I never really cared but everyone started making a big stink about it recently.

Until AI can full model and texture a character based off a front, back, and side character design; I'm not excited.
