greed has destroyed everything wonderful in this world. the environment is on the brink, workers are being replaced by computers, we won't even have cashiers in 10 years. in 20 years we won't even have burger flippers.

In a way, we lived in a charmed interstitial period where technology had improved human quality of life and opened new vistas of human endeavor.
