I saw on YouTube a video telling me that an 10,000+ polygon model is really hard to make. No it isn't. But to make a good one it's hard. Is this true?

Just bake anything that doesn't affect the silhouette into the normalmap (belts, buckles etc)
Use 1024 texture maps
Use edge decals instead of unique geometry
