Cozy Blanket 2.0 is out. Is it worth buying an ipad for or is it a bugged piece of shit?

Why would I give pablo my money? He should've behaved like the obedient code monkey Ton wanted.

>Why would I give pablo my money?
from the videos, it blows its nearest competitors

You should give money because he fucked up Blender to such a degree that it'll take decades for sculpting to be on par with Zbrush from 10 years ago and then fucked off to create a pointless retopo app when 3DCoat and Zbrush can already do that automatically.

>when 3DCoat and Zbrush can already do that automatically.
>actually believing this

Yes. The company I work for bought be the iPad, pen, and CozyBlanket and yeah, it's worth it; It's really fast doing it this way.

It's not like you can't do the same with a screen tablet but depending on what you're looking to do, like Stylized it's really nice and you can send stuff into Procreate after you've moved from Substance to do some manual work

It won't be perfect but yes they can. If that's not good enough you can use guide lines or polygroups. If that's not good enough then go work for pixar faggot because clearly your standards are top of the industry

Why would you buy a device *specifically* for that app? It's only niche is providing retopology when you are travelling and don't have access to ZBrush or Blender.

It's almost as if I can touch it.

What's their explanation of the astronomical price btw? Nomad costs 1/5 of it and provides a full sculpting experience compared to Cozy Blanket which does 1 small part of the pipeline?
It should cost $5-10 MAX for people to start using it.

I can understand sketching on the ipad but retopo? LMAO you have to be mentally retarded when these days 3d artists are already WFH.

if Dobarro does a full modeling app he could charge just like nomad for his app, i suppose it shouldn't be that hard, now it is overpriced as fuck.
