what is it that you want out of your grass texture? Grass drawn only thru texture-mapping will ofc struggle to look like grass seeing how geometric that material is in the real world. Without the parallax and angle dependent self-shadowing happening there's limits to how much you can ask of a grass texture.

With texture only you're about as good as it gets. You wanna go beyond that you need more advanced shaders.
GTAV does a pretty good looking trimmed grass on the cheap with a classic parallax 'fur' shader.
Newer games uses geometry shaders for grass and mass instantiate mesh grass blades across the surface.

Adding a really aggressive normalmap to the grass could help a bit if done right but generating one suitable for a already existing
texture can be hard as the geometry needs to be very crips.

Can give it a shot later to see what I can do since that's actually a nice texture you posted.

If you just mean you need a texture with the look of a specific type of trimmed grass I'll let you in on a little secret.
Places like 'google image search' was good many years ago but they have a bunch of restrictions placed on them how their web-crawlers are allowed to operate due to legal complaints.
There are good image search tools outside the US in the usual suspect 'do-not-give-a-fuck' countries that will offer stellar image search results.

If you're looking for images accessible for free rather than 'public domain' specifically try using the image search of 'yandex.com' for example.

Her you go anon. I made this texture pack for big scenes using actual 3d grass that I made from scratch and then rendering the specular, diffuse and normal pass.

The original one is like 20gb so I'm uploading a compressed 1.6 gb version.

The texture is made to cover an area of 25sqmts and be seamless. I'm the author so I hereby grant you 100 commercial use.

That's because grass textures make no sense.
Grass is something that has depth and volume. It won't ever look good as a flat image, except from a distance.
That being said, you're gonna want to blend multiple different grass textures together to make something believable. It also gets rid of tiling issues which is another reason a lot of grass looks like shit in games.
