the final asset goes through the Autodesk sw for polishing anyways, so what's your point? I work in vidya industry and Blender is only ever used for the earliest stages of modelling, it's a nightmare when anyone re-exports the finished asset from Blender, it always fucks up something (skinning, normals etc.)

Maya is used for animation, no other software is close to the level of tools for animators. Houdini is perfect for visual effects, Maya is poor in offering such thing, Substence is greater in UV editing than Maya since it offers photoshop like easyabilty and Zbrush is perfect for models with high detail that Maya can not do.

Maya is not used in everything.

Is there an automatic way to mirror a root motion animation? It cirrently goes from Y -> -Y and I want to flip that and rotate it by 180 degrees. I did thsi manually in about a minute.
