Is unreal engine for animation the best workflow?
I mean it does it in real time and there's a ton of animations available. Unless you need something fancy.

Alternative: Update your AAU and see if it happens again. If so, disable win10fix, enable wined3d and software vertex processing.

speaking of unreal id be willing to pay a little bit for having a 3d model rigged with the unreal skeleton. I'd consult fiverr or upwork but they won't take my card. Can anybody do me a solid I know somebody here has a trick up their sleeve. I'd be willing to pay $25. I mean if you're experienced you could get it done in an hour I think so its not like insulting or anything. I'd pay with ethereum.

It depends. If you're an independent artist and can't afford a render farm for offline rendering, UE5 is probably your best friend. If you're trying to produce long-form content like an animated feature film or series, I'd probably say doubly so.

You mean animating inside unreal engine? It's horrible.
If you have used stuff like Motionbuilder, Maya and blender, then you miss tons of QoL stuff and features.
You can do some quick fixes to your animation inside the engine, but that is about it.

That's not true at all with long form content. Noone makes whole movies in one sequence in anything. You make shots and then edit them together.
