Trying to create some digital art and as an element of it I was looking for an interesting looking Japanese font.

Preferably some app I can use to enter text in English and converted to the Japanese equivalent but with some type of futuristic or highly stylized looking characters.

Any tips? I'm doing this would be greatly appreciated

Such an app does not exist. Just install a Japanese font you like and paste in the text from Google Translate or whatever.

That's what I tried before posting here but was dissatisfied with the results.

google fonts have japanese fonts.

as for translating shit, use Deepl for simple stuff like random words and use chat gpt for things like a paragraph.

as for cool looking fonts, simply look up some typography tutorial or course.

Like learn the diferences between serif, san serif, decorative, monospace, geometric, pixel, humanistic, gothic, script.

Look up this book.

Should teach the basics of picking fonts.

Just learn Katakana, should take you a day max to memorize.
Or copy/paste random text from Japanese Wikipedia.

Just find someone who knows Japanese and pick a font
If you let an app do your translating you'll look very stupid to anyone who knows the language
