I'm putting together a new computer and I'm torn really on what GPU I should buy. I've used a 970 for years but as I'm using Unreal, it's starting to show it's age.
Does anyone have any recommendations on what I should grab? I've been contemplating a 3060 12gb but was also thinking about the new 4060ti 16gb that's supposed to come out this month.
Free free to post what you're using.

Thanks, I didn't know of that thread. I guess I was wondering what people were using here though since I'm sure people are pushing their cards limits with 3D.

Get a used 3090 won't cost any more and you have the vram.
Unreal is ridiculously vram hungry until you employ optimization tricks like texture packing.

I won't read those comments and go with used 3090. Also I'll bump a thread for no good reason.
Bump.

Forget about unreal. Seriously. Keep the 970 and use Unity and develop for mobile. Mobile is where all the money comes in.

Yeah, it comes out this month, but you won't be able to buy one for at least 8. The first few batches need to go to their respective YouTube Verified influencers, coorporate crypto mines, and the North African Space Assosciation
