there is almost no good yt or paid course anim tutorials (for blender atleast) theyre either all about animating a car, simple robot, a ball that even a 3rd grader would know and if it is a rare humanoid character its a 50x speed useless timelapse.

The best by far where you will learn the meat and potatoes basics is AnimeNyans tutorials where its from start to finish

The paid courses are suprisingly all shit, theres one by CGcookie where they animate the most simple ball/robot, some dude animating catgirls parkour with 50x timelapse, the best course would be Alive! by Pierre hes the only one who goes into animating a humanoid character in depth.

There is still lots of timelapses and chapter 3 is aids but all others are okayish. He spends way too much time on a single simple animation because he is specialized and its all he does in his dayjob dont let it discourage you. This is the problem with industry/Maya people they do a single thing because in a pipeline you have employees and specialist for each one thing, but none of them can make a full blown movie like this guy for example https://youtube.com/@AamonAnimations who uses blender (tho in this case Pierre does build some cool ones with the robots+rockets)

Tip: make sure you ate in the last 7hrs when watching the tutorials or ideally right after eating, you will be able to concentrate and wont yawn/stall and look around. Megadose caffeine+salt in small amount of water and chug it down through straw for a mini Adderall effect that might make you be able to look at a wall for hours and not get bored. You have to watch on phone while laying on pillow behind back or u will have a hard time, first watch all and only then are u allowed to start up a 3d program to actually practice it. MOTION PATH is everything always calculate it and make it an arch instead of a straight line, NLA editor is most powerful tool overlap animations together blend them, graph editor not too needed because its all about posing but its good for overshoot/polishing. Hardest thing is learning what poses you need to make for the animation u want to perform.

After that looking into Cascadeur is worth and they have tutorial how it works and that might extend ur understanding more AnimeNyan>Pierre>Cascadeur. This is all best that i could find but im not even that interested in animation but texturing in Mari and sculpting for Bethesda modding but i want to know everything.

Spill it for a gamedev please. Wich way should I go regarding animating bideps (and rigging them)? I don't give a fuck about software wars so I'll just describe my context:
I learned the maximum amount of stuff to make 3D games. So far I can model, sculpt/retopo, do some procedural stuff and VFX in Houdini and code. The only thing left is animation. I made some a few months ago (picked Maya bc it had Advanced Skeleton). But I'm still not sure about this choice. I also used Blender and made some animations. I just don't know wich one I prefer.

I have a big gripe with Maya and this is somewhat related to you as a gamedev because i was watching hair courses for real-time. Basically the HAIR CARDS workflow where you use textured planes with alpha transparency, you will always be using that method for hair in realtime engines and im watching this Ubisoft employee triple A industry guy https://online-courses.club/artstation-create-hair-for-aaa-games-full-course-modules-by-ashley-sparling/ Watched all 18hours of him making that mid hairstyle going into ZBrush fibermesh/xnormal to make textures, placing curves then cards in Maya Xgen 1by1 etc and says it takes him 1 week per hairstyle on his job. THEN i watch Blender hair course and find out theres an addon called Hair Tools which is Xgen on steroids and lets you make this procedurally with full control in 10mins!! https://youtu.be/6r5zUOxpO7c And things like this keep happening where Blender workflows are always so much faster and more optimized FOR EXAMPLE if youre doing NSFW animation, almost no one does that in Maya and sites like https://smutba.se/ which is probably the only site for these type of models and ones for game environments https://open3dlab.com/ only provide blendfiles, there are entire extensions dedicated to cum sims, diffeomorphic which is seamless DAZ to Blender bridge to correctly import skeleton/morphs as shapekeys and much more etc... None of these exist to Maya, only time ive seen it used is for its ZIVA physics addon and even that u just export the sim back to Blender.

To answer your question you have AutoRigPro in Blender which is optimized for exporting rig to unreal/unity (Rigify has problems with that) and can do animals too, its faster even if u want to manually do it because it creates a base right away and you clean up. All these Blender addons can be gotten easily on VFXmed but you need virtual machine i use Hyper-V. Their files are all clean and unaltered but to get to the download you need to turn off AdBlock and get bombarded with bloatware popups that might give ur PC aids. So u go through the aids on VM then upload the clean files to google drive, reset VM to checkpoint previous state and then download clean file on ur main https://youtu.be/ZQxEwC6lyco. ya no, SmutBase is nothing but fake people and models being stolen. I looked up anime and found stolen MMD models. I know where and who made them, yet these people claim they made them in blender (which is also false). MMD models never work in Blender, they were heavy modified to be used in blender. You video requires add-on in blender to work. Which is just a heavy mod of current blender hair system. It's not better than XGen it's worst.
