hey guys so for the past few months the idea of sculpting / being a 3D artist is really glamorous for me but I've a few questions as I'm a complete noob
1-can I make a good career of it ?
2-what are the possibilities of landing a remote work? because I'm in a country where any form of being a 3D artist is considered a dead end since there is no market for it here
3-should I even bother learning if I intend to teach myself using tutorials etc..
4-what budget display tablet should I buy ?
5-can my PC(GTX 970/6700K/Ram16G) handle the software I'm going to use like zbrush/blender ?

Post some of your work because I want to appreciate how delusional you are.

You're thinking of entering an industry that is in the midst of being greatly enhanced by ai software and is also already heavily saturated with 3D artists, sculpters, modellers, etc.

I'm not saying don't give it a go, but you need to be realistic. The chances of "making it" in this industry is really low. Especially if you're going into it with little to no experience.

Want to make money? Go for a different line of work or be prepared to make all sorts of weird porn for degenerates with money. Good luck.

there's not money in the arts.

learn to code, then buy nice hardware and plugins, with a programming job.

trust me, you will make my same mistake I did when I was younger, and said coding was the boring shit unlike 3D.

A life advice from an older guy, to a younger one.

Find a boring job that pay the bills, that allow you do to have your stomach and freezer filled and the rent paid, that will let you do your passion of the arts without worrying about making money.
