I gotta make an anime girl sometime next year, is sculpting or poly better for a model that's going to be rigged and animated?

I know how to do both but I'll need to brush up on whichever I chose

poly is more gears to game and low models that you see in the background. You want to use poly for simple actions while not overdo on details. Sculpting has high detail and require good understanding of the model limitations. You want to use sculpt models in TV or films, as the audience will be seeing it the most.
