Anyone here use Bryce3D? Just bought it and having fun so far, since I've been obsessed with this art style forever and all the DnB jungle youtube mixes with these images are fire.

It's still usable but absolutely unoptimized for modern cpus or gpus because the lazy fuks at DAZ leave it to rot.

Yes, I use Bryce for skyboxes for my game. They're nice but as others have said the program is quite unoptimised. Also the camera FOV has some weird issues so if you want a 90 FOV render you need to set it to like 112.5 FOV.

What's your workflow for generating skyboxes? Do you just capture 6 renders?

Yes, I rotate the camera manually and capture 6 renders one after another, making sure to keep track of which is which. It is a little annoying, but whatever. I'm sure there's a way to do a panoramic render that's compatible with the panoramic skybox setting in unity but I haven't gotten it to work and I hate when the skybox has a seam at the center when you look up.

Why not use Blender for this instead? I just set this up quickly for a test and I kind of got something similar, a bit lower quality. I'm sure if you spent more time you can recreate that kind of style in there.
