Redpill me on the Boolean - Remesh - Smooth workflow inside of Blender. I know this forms much of the basis of hard surface shit in ZBrush but it's quicker to do in Blender, especially with addons like Black Mesh.

Probably the most retarded way I've seen anyone do hard surface modeling.
Not even the highpoly makes sense with half of the edges perfectly sharp and the other half rounded, you'll never get a decent lowpoly out of that without remodeling the entire thing.
Just learn how to use control edgeloops and model a clean highpoly for fucks sake.
