How are these topology/texture demos called? Are they all procedural Houdini flex?

looks suspiciously familiar
"after effects fractal noise" in google images
I suspect its this fractal noise, mixed with displacement maps, and plenty of
"after effects luma matte" same as above
also displacement maps for extra realism, you're dealing with 3D software after all
and combine some of those luma mattes and post processing with hue and glow filter and your'e done
