Worked with Koikatsu, HS and Virt-A-Mate, got a good amount of followers too, once you start getting a bit ambitious you start facing those platforms limitations.

Now I'm starting fresh with blender, its x10 harder but possibilities are limitless.

Of all of them, I'd recommend VaM the most, but you'll condemned to do NSFW for life, and after some time your models will all start to look samey to you and your followers

I realize that you're clearly on one side of the fence for this, but I'm sure plenty of those people like the aesthetic in an illustrated form but don't have any attraction at all to real children. There's a big separation between what an anime character looks like and a real person. It's the same kind of shit where someone could be attracted to Hatsune Miku in illustrated form, but if someone cosplayed as Miku, they couldn't give two fucks.
Maybe I'm giving lolicons a bit too much credit, but I'm quite sure for most of them there's a clear distinction between fantasy and reality. I'm not using "fantasy" as a "they want to fuck kids irl, but the drawings are a good substitute", but in the same way dragons and centaurs are fantasy. They're attracted to fictional characters and drawings, not so much the real life context they represent.
At least, that's how I understand it.

It's a similar thing with furries I think. They're into Lola Bunny, but they're not gonna go out to the pet store to get a rabbit to fuck.
