What advice would you give to someone who is really interested in drawing but has little to no experience with it? I've recently become very interested in trying to draw but I don't really where of how to start.

This is probably shit advice but as someone who has been drawing for over a decade by now, just draw what you enjoy. Nothing fuels the motivation to make art more than pure passion to make what you like.

In terms of improvement, try looking at tutorials and putting it into practice with muscle memory, observe how some of your favorite artists' styles look and try to replicate it. Even if people say it's bad, it's okay to trace at first.

Don't expect picasso pieces at first either. Art improves with enough time and practice, most of the art that you may like right now were probably made by artists who had to go through the same process. It's good to keep that in mind when getting discouraged by some shit not turning out how you expected it to though. Be patient with yourself.

Again, probably not the exact advice you're looking for, but I can clarify more things if you want. I'm obviously not qualified to be the absolute best artist expert around here, but we've all been there and I know how tough it can get.

probably going to the right board instead of killing threads to ask dumb questions
