Can someone explain what is wrong here? Whenever I upload a drawing to deviantart it always looks blurry and gross. I'm usually drawing with autodesk sketchbook on my phone so I upload the preview image from the gallery, and it looks blurry, but when I upload the raw tiff file as a converted jpeg it still looks blurry. What am I doing wrong here?

I usually use a 720×1547 canvas, and the thing is that most images become blurry when you close enough at them in general, but most of the images I publish have a layer of artifacts on them whether or not they're zoomed in. I don't know if it's the app I'm using or if I'm posting the preview image from a phone or what.

you definetely need to increase your canvas size anon, and mess with the dpi, I don't used autodesk but in most softwares you should be able to change it in image or canvas settings. Haven't used DA in a long time but it shouldn'r compress the image as much
