Hey I'm back, I'm in Breckenridge right now, so I can't do digital art, only paper drawings. Anyways I drew this sketch page today, the sketch of Lauren holding a stuffed rabbit is meant to represent an idea I had that all living illustrations, or Comics as they're called have an inherent balanced sense of childlike naivete and rational maturity, kind of like Peewee Herman

Calvin was inspired by Terrytoons' Heckle and Jeckle and Gandy Goose, while Lauren's surly nature was based on Ned Sparks, while her appearance is a mix of Jessica Rabbit and R. Crumb. Calvin and Lauren's overall dynamic and relationship with each other were inspired by gandy goose & sourpuss and the walrus and the carpenter from Lewis Carroll's Alice Through the Looking-Glass.

Hey everyone, I'm back, I've took a lot of time to reflect on the criticism and I've spent some time trying to improve my line art and shit. I'm don't really care if people think my art is bad because there will always still be at least one or two people who do like it, anyways thanks for that one peice of fanart in the previous reply.

I'm glad you mentioned that, I should do some sketches of characters in different rooms, I have tried my hand at designing backgrounds with an abstract collage style before. Also they aren't drunks but they do drink occasionally.

Something of note is that the photos of people came from a Swedish clipart collection from 1999 published by PC Hemma, and the textures came from a program called Wraptures, It's meant to have a surreal, 2000s kind of vibe.
