I have aa question regarding tablet drawing that I feel you guys might understand is coming from a newbie.
How in the hell do I make my hands do what I want them to do? I can't draw a straight line for the life of me and circles are esoteric magic far beyond my capabilities. I get that the simplest answer is practice, practice, and practice some more, but I'm also just lost on the technique with using tablets. My hand drags over the damn thing, the orientation is never quite right, and my hands jitter like a motherfucker. If anyone has any advice that isn't just "practice" (because I am and will), that'd be greatly appreciated.
Hand for payment.
Also since it's probably going to be asked

I'd like some tips, too. Bought one and basically never did use it, but I am planning to practice on it since there is more free time to me now. From the few days that I was experimenting with it, my greatest struggle was that, unlike a sketchbook, I cannot rotate the tablet and maintain orientation. I know this will be a necessary pain to go through, but any help is appreciated

The best piece of advice I got when I was a beginner was to enjoy drawing and have fun with it. Drawing is the summation of manual dexterity, knowledge and intuition. You can build up dexterity and knowledge, but intuition only comes with time and practice.

Just like the >>741482 anon said, now that I do notice there is some internal confusion on me about which technique to use while on the tablet. Back then when I did frequent /i/, drawing with a mouse forced me to change style and technique - usually (on paper) I draw lines with corrective motions (not a straight line yet? Draw another one over it), but with a mouse I went for definite strokes followed by fixes (thinning out lines or rounding up stuff, etc). Then there's the feeling of making a wrong choice about the tablet's size... Oh well
