the pixie animation is finally reaching its end point
i've been dragging that poor file on for almost a few months now
albeit i can already see man foundational fractures in that animation that no amount of re-touches can fix

the issue with her is that brown people don't visibly blush so conveyng expession is a lot more dependant on how i shaper her face
aka i cant use the cutesy blushes as a crutch for expression
thinking of splitting her into two seperate women one with the OG tied back hair with the bioharard motif and the second with the cobra fins

my old man neighbour passed away from old age
his wife woke us up cuz he wasn't reacting
poor guy was barely breathing by the time we arrived
he prolly died soon after but his daughter begged us to transported him to the hospital over the phone
i got to ride the ambulance to the hospital but twas pretty obvious he'd already departed
I can now officialy claim that i've witnessed a man's final breath

got a week's vacation so been pouring all my spare time into minecraft
got shafted with a aquifer seed making mining a royal pain
literally surrounded by swamp and tundra biomes with a small pstch of grasslands to inhabit
been an intense playthrough
also origami tesselations i've been dabbling in origami tesselation patterns
its simultaenously the most frustrating and relaxing activity to partake in
folding the symmetrical grids is a humbling process
had a backlog of origami pdf's i'd hoarded from /po/ and other places so been going throught that too
i have till monday to do as i please timewise so my sleep schedules been shot to shit

There's a third episode, and some other small bits, sadly due to it being cutting edge it was seen as too odd and contraversial to be on tv, and thus was canceled.

Most of them are based off of online people i have interacted with
Top right: meant to be based off a irl photo of betz, a /co/ tard who is very lulzy, the caption for him is in reference to a pipe bomb threat he sent to some random guy he thought was me.
Top left/hangingjak: meant to be chewbone anon, someone who i have le epinly trolled. The caption on him is in reference to when he sperged out over some 4chan shitposts and told me to drink his semen.
Bottom right/wizard chudjak: /crab/ tourney gm, /crab/ is meant to be a oc tourney of sorts, but in reality is just the millonth discord drama clique that is easily baited.
Bottom left/nojak: meant to be le fembog priest from ever expanding bunker. Eeb is a obscure world building community that i use to shitpost/troll on.

I've begun interning at a small indian studio
Im doing animatics of a series they did last year as training
they have the scripts still in archive
so i get to redo the animatic the senior artists have already done
then we compare our works after
I've achieved the rough desired quality for the average low-end puppet rig slop animatics
just need to achieve desired output which i've been assured comes with experience
either way there's solid progress : DDDD
u learn a lot doing thumbnail and then applying it into a clean animatics
only qualm i've got is just how badly the animatics get butchered in production
most indian cartoons do the streamlined flash rig pipeline rather than outsourcing abroad for trad anim
so despite the effort we put in the animatics
they always maim and dumb down the fun bit for easier mass produced animation slop
i've seen both finished episodes and animatics side_by_side and its a crushing experience
honestly the average kid would prolly prefer the rough animatic over the slop product but thats prolly not gonna convince the boomer producers/execs who want a quick cash in
My personal goal is to work for Vaibhav studios if i ever make it as an indian animator
they're perhaps the only indian animation studio that faithfully does 2d animation without cutting corners on quality

I've had so many things i wanted post about if it weren't the damned rain
had to move workplace in the fucking rain and now the pc hauling is a more inconvenient trip
then there was the ring my dad gifted me according to family tradition on my first proper day of internship
which i then accidentally snapped cuz it was an old golden coil ring that my grandpa originally owned
so we gave that for repair and i was given another sturdier silver ring which i now wear
its like a neat holder i use to keep my animator glove fastened to my wrist while on duty
then there were the movies i watched in theatre like the deadpool and wolverine and the desicable me one
despicable me and hotel transylvania have been some of the best toony fun i've had along with the garfield flick
the daily work time with zero internet access was such a whiplash for my workflow it was unreal
aside from my YT playlist i'd downloaded beforehand i had zero secondary media to consume
I've been so heavily rewired and reconditioned that i cant work and watch stuff at the same time
another thing i learned is just how much brain work it takes to convert a script into a functional animatic play-by-play
the average script writer for indian animation shows doen't plan the shots/camera angles, just a rough description of the plot and props for the plot
aside from character sheets and an isometric of the location everything else is left in my hands
its almost like playing director over the loose script and making a smoothly paced animatic out of it
the first week was just learning to nonchalantly say "fuck the script" and taking liberties to make the plot work

after 3 college years of nuking my circadian rhythm with late nights and multiple shrill morning alarms
i've hit my ideal rhythm ever since i began interning
having a place to be at, a strict timetable, and designated work to do just straigtened me out
i no longer need an alarm to wake in the morning on time
i think physically im at my peak productivity and it only going up

will be officially done with my first ever animatic by the next sunday
i'll be given a less tooney script next
i can now reliably do roughly 20~25 secs od animatic done in a day
the expected standard is 30 secs per day (2 days per minute)
im slowly getting there
i'm progressing : DDD
the indian animation industry might be going through a depression but my training is bearing fruit nonetheless
