i've memorized reactions and pathways by placing them on a clock
otherwise, spaced repetition with flash cards

As you write down what you want memorized on a board or piece of paper, yell out to yourself what you are writing, and imagine you are explaining it to someone.

I use obsidian and make notes and tie things together conceptually, and employ what I've learned in relation to other things. I use further combinations of zettelkasten inter-references and diagrams/mind maps. I automate all of that much as possible or it would end up costing too much overhead to be useful if I had to do it manually.

If it's brute force trivia bullshit use flashcards. Everybody uses anki or whatever for that for spaced repetition.
