One question for my fellow /sci/entists, what is your favourite philosopher?
For me, it's Schopenhauer. He just gets the world better than anyone else. It's no wonder he was the main philosophical influence to many physicists in the 20th century.

Jesus Christ. Schopenhauer was a deformed and dysgenic cadaverous gnome who projected his own nihilism and scientism onto the universe. His fundamental metaphysical assumptions are flawed and he got cucked by Lord Byron on his grand European tour.

Unironically manga and anime do a way better job of showing a variety of philosophies than academic philosophers but ironically you need academic philosophy first to fully appreciate manga and anime.
