27 matching right now. It's not that bad med students are just massive complainers. Just treat studying like a 9-5 and you'll have no issues. Unless your school is lame and has mandatory attendance, in which case I have no advice.

most doctors i know keep working in their 80s, not because they need the money as you may guess but because they like it and its not a tiresome job

That doesn't seem feasible for many fields. Derm, family med (reduced pt load), pathology, rheum maybe. But EM, hospitalist, surgery, ICU all seem undoable if not just unsafe
