What was something that made you interested in science at an early age? Female characters in video games always made me want to get into STEM as a kid.

I honestly think it was the depiction of scientists in 80s children's media as solution providers and exposition devices that probably made me subconsciously associate the scientist-archetype with my father who I of course wanted to imitate in every aspect as a small child.
