>Pythagoras theorem is basicaly if every line in a triangle was extended into a square, that's why being raised to the power of 2 means they're SQUARED
Why didn't they explain this? Back when I was a kid they just gave us the formulas and told us to plug it in

i personally blame paulo freire and a fair few others for the sorry state of education, a couple of handfuls of other stuff and places as well

Why? Because the education system is trash and the only solution is to cut their budged in half every year until it gets better or dies.
