I have pretty advanced knee osteoarthritis following a previously torn meniscus at the ripe old age of 23. How fucked am I? Is there any future research being done for articular cartilage regeneration I can use to cope?

My relative and at least half of the population has it, you would know if there's something you can do about it that is not operations.
but having it at 23... seems like a death sentence, you're gonna end up with prosthetics.
