Her sans evidence assertion flies in the face of everything I've learned here on /sci/.

I work as a biomedical scientist in a UK hospital lab, started after graduating with a BSc in Biomedicine, and got my specialist portfolio in Microbiology.
Probably half my colleagues are women, of that, half the women are Nigerian, maybe a quarter Indian. All very intelligent, all very good at their jobs, all nice people. You take a cross section of nearly any employment (except the shit ones, like bin men or whatever) and you'll find people tend not to look the same. Everyone has different academic journeys, and there's many different paths to get into a good STEM degree, why would you expect a homogeneous employee base for literally anything involving science?
