This is what Edward Teller had to say about "global warming":

There was more arctic sea ice last year than in 2012. If global warming were real then there would've been less ice last year than in 2012, but if the climate were cooling then there would have been more ice last year, which there was.
The 11 year gap is to be consistent with solar cycles
