How do our brains do it? How does AI do it, even if not to the extent our brains can? A random image of horns came to my mind when I saw the image on left.

the real redpill is realizing this works non-visually too. If you encounter a similar situation in general, your brain recalls memories of what it was like before. Like say if you hear two people having an argument, or feel like a relationship is going downhill, less interest in a person, body language and tone changes, its incredible really how many layers our pattern recognition operates on

Our brains don't actually "see" everything. They just fill in the visual blanks with what's most likely to be there. Same thing with possible dangers, your brain doesn't actually consciously perceive danger, it just perceives dangerous patterns in nature.
