🧵 newest Starship opinion
Anonymous at Thu, 14 Mar 2024 16:48:50 UTC No. 16077200
what are your thoughts on the latest Thunderf00t take on Starship?
"That was always the thing, making things rapidly reusable, that was never a large launch market, this… this… this is being true forever, the satellites cost more to make than they cost to launch, so even if you going to make launching they cheaper, it doesn’t really change much. The only reason SpaceX has Starlink is because there were no satellites to launch."

I don't think Starship will ever work, however if it did in some perfect non-clown world then it would indeed revolutionize the space industry. ThunderFagg0t ignores the large cargo hold of Starship. This would allow for space telescopes to be launched that mog JWST like the limp dicked loser it is. The real issue isn't the reusability part but the size. With increased diameter of cargo hold we can do tons of shit in space we couldn't before.
But here we are, no working Starship and way behind schedule. There will never be the launch tempo Musk promised and the Starship is a horrible design that keeps getting messed with and made more complicated. They keep failing in the most basic ways possible and making themselves look like asshats.
ThunderKike is like a shit stained broken clock, right twice a day but only by coincidence. Nearly every other word out of his mouth is pop sci shart. But it just goes to show that a reddit tier faggot still can see through Musk's bullshit like a laser beam. What's you excuse /sci/ ?

Competing half a jigsaw puzzle isn't an accomplishment. Starship is still a failed project. You can't count failure as success and not expect to be called out on it.
Not to mention you are making a lot of assumptions about what did and what didn't work. Lots of damage to Starship on this third launch and we will see the full after action report soon. It looked like a shit ton of fuel was leaking, the doors fucked up, and I'm pretty sure there was a huge hole in the hull of Starship. The whole system is so unstable you really have no idea what will or won't break each time it launches. Sooner or later it'll just explode on the pad because the Space Xtards are playing so fast and so loose.
You idiots only like dunking on ThunderTrans because he's a midwit homosexual and makes it easy. If/when you are forced to debate someone with above room temp IQ you always switch to ad hominem attacks and/or accuse me of working for Bezos or Boeing.

Their engineering philosophy is to test prototype vehicles, learn from what went wrong and then improve, to call it a 'failed project' when it's doing exactly as expected is a distorted take
You mention lots of small and easily fixable issues, e.g. the door - nothing too concerning there. "I bet it will just explode" is also a non-point. You will eventually be proven wrong when it flies to Mars, but until that point continue to be gratified that an in-progress engineering project is not yet finished

>satellites cost more to make than they cost to launch, so even if you going to make launching they cheaper, it doesn’t really change much
Satellites are expensive because when launching is expensive, it's worth spending a lot of money to make them reliable, small, light, long-lasting, and bespoke. If launching is cheap, satellites can be heavier, less reliable, less durable, and mass-manufactured, and therefore more cheaper to produce.

You are obviously correct on your point here, but I don't even think you need to go to this level. Being able to launch satellites for less money, even if the satellite costs the same, will still open up possibilities for companies with a budget. It's an insane point he's making really, if companies can save money then of course it's good for them even if the sat is the most expensive part. Then you have all the additional stuff like the wide diameter, and the rideshare programs on Starship will get the price way down

Did you ever listen to thunderfag?
He literally rambles incoherently and thinks his incoherent ramblings are proof of something.
He was always like this.
One of his fetishes is the speed of sound here he get very excited when something is at or above the speed of sound like being x5 the speed of sound.
The best example of this is why thungerfag opposed Brexit.
Watch that video, he literally did think if Britain leaves the EU europe will enter another world war or some incoherent crap like that.
Or how he literally must travel internationally for this SSCCCIIIEEENNCCEEEE and magically having a small bag with a passport is something that his schizo brain can not imagine as a possibility.
The dude obviously has mild schizophrenia. Another example is how for no fucken reason he uses like 5 different colors in his videos obvious bright.
I mean jesus fuck! Most people will use 2 or 3 colors max.
Or how he schizoed out about ice or some dude getting excited over a water bottle. Can anyone explain to me WTF was that all about?
I'm not buying the water bottle and the guy shilling it did not really explain what it does.
Thunderfoot did go into his epic le debunking modes and did a experiment where he threw ice into hot water and measured the temperature changes.
WTF was he trying to prove here? Can anyone explain? I think the trick was that the shilled bottle has like 2 layers and holds water inside that you freeze this way you cool your drink without mixing in the molten ice or something.
WTF was thunderfoot all about there? You see schizos in religion and science thrive since lot of people mistake not understanding a schizo for deep wisdom or intelligence while in reality it is literally nonsense or a viewpoint so corrupted by schizophrenia that only the outcome can be correct while the schizo reasoning is invalid.
Obviously he spots things like solar roadways, however the dude clearly has some schizophrenia going on there.

Take a look at this picture.
Was there even a FUCKEN reason for the fagot to make the point #2 another fucken color?
Combined with his incoherent speech and arguments I conclude that thunderfoot has schizophrenia. I think the biggest self debunk he made of himself is when he made a bet that Elon will be bankrupt in 5 years
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vYU
So if Elon is not bankrupt in 2030 you can assume that the fucken schizo is literally wrong and he can not talk his way out of this hole.
Because the rest of his crap is so schizo that you can not understand what he is even saying at this point other then
><INSERT NAME HERE> bad
Thunderfoot is also very clueless. He literally is only a chemist yet he digs into economics and threat's it like some expert. Despite the fact that economics is bullshit and people with economic degrees know this.
Here is one area where 300% I know he is wrong and his talking points are very stupid. You can most of the time not use money like this and thunder schizo literally uses money like it is a fundamental force of the universe or some shit!
Because what he did read some economics bullshit online? Or what? I have a degree in economics for fucks sake.
Let that schizo try to bullshit how him being only a chemist makes him magically an expert on economics who can outclass people with actual degrees in this subject?
>Elon wealth destruction
No this is not how you read this and not how you use this.
There are numerous factors involved in going bankrupt all who are social and complicated. Money or le wealth is not a fundamental force of the universe that you can plug into a equation like when a train going 60 km/h will arrive at in 20 years.
