Futurology - prediction of developments of the future
What will the big scientific developments of the 21st century be?
Will be get nuclear fusion to release more energy than it takes to get it to work?
If so? Will be see harvesting of tritium on the moon?
How good will space travel get?
Will we start to colonise other planets in our solar system?
Will we descend into a new dark age with the chaos inducement of climate change and nuclear threat?

We don’t write as much fiction about the future as we did in say the 50s and 1960s. People were obsessed with the year 2000 and what tech would be like then.
More automation. Have to introduce universal basic income?
Climate change means sub-Saharan Africa becomes very difficult to live. Booming sub Saharan African population. Mass immigration to Europe, North America and Asia. Huge racial issues as a result??
Population decline in East Asia with huge ageing population problem.

Might not necessarily seem like a big development, but power systems will be much more decentralised, and supply will follow demand rather than the other way around and work much more like the internet with packetization and randomization.

The world in 2100.
I think scientific advancements will affect political ideology massively.
Transgenderism is just the first step towards trans humanism more broadly. CRISPR, genetic engineering, and all kinds of biotechnology will rapidly improve the ability for humans to augment their bodies. There will be political conflicts over this.
AI and automation will massively change the relationship between Labour and Capital. Tech will also make people go crazy.
There will be a primitivist anti-tech movement.
The Amish will rise to enormous prominence in America due to high birth rates.

Not larping, mark my words because some of you will actually live this and you would like to be prepared.
In the middle of the 21st century there will be a manmade cataclysm destroying all telecommunication technology and plunging the humanity into a dark unconnected world and all the world leaders will leave us and flee with what little they have left. All civilizations will fall, all simultaneously, let's roughly explain what will happen, roughly.
North american big cities will fall into a barbaric suicide because of all the mixed cultures and different people unable to unite to survive, it is a problem in the current world but in a fractured dead world that is the trigger of the fall of your civilization. The most able will remain in the wilderness and/or flee to europe, thinking it will be safer.
South America relies currently on the N.A. and spaniards to stay alive, without the linguistic importation from both countries, no exportation of their goods and being as tribalistic as they are then the underground criminals will take the streets and cleanse them similarly as what happens in big N.A. cities. They will return to tribes soon.
Similar thing will happen to africa, but they will be the same self hurting animals that will remain as tribes as nowadays but almost all of them will die becuse there is no white man to help them stay alive. Basically all tribes in the world that dont rely on modern civilizations to survive will not hurt themselves and will remain the same, more or less.
Europeans will see a similar fate to N.A. but as their cultural sense is strong and they are physically superior they will survive and it will be a subjectivelly tragic "survival of the strongest" (strong meaning both physically and menally) and a further cleanse of the unfortunate and a return to barbaric tribes and paganism.
Ironic how people nowadays ramble about the WEF "great reset" and they will actually experience something like that but most probably die.
