A zero calorie version of beer. Is there a chemical which gives a similar feeling to alcohol but is zero calories? Add this to hopped fizzy water and then you've got Beer Zero. Any suggestions?

There are 7 calories in 1g of ethanol which I'm pretty sure is in every kind of alcoholic drink. There's some faux-alcohol drinks on the market using other chemicals but they don't seem very popular. Maybe you can't get totally smashed on them or something I'm not sure

Keto folks looking for an alcohol buzz drink R 1,3 Butanediol, which has 80% fewer calories than alcohol. I've never tried it because it's expensive and apparently doesn't taste all that great but if you're concerned mostly about calories, it's probably the best alternative.
