Racial difference in the age at which children can pass the mirror test have nothing to do with racial IQ differences, the age difference (18 months for whites, 6 years for blacks) is strictly a cultural phenomenon.

I hate studies like this because there are always small differences in things like the age distribution of the different samples. Anyway, TLDR the rankings:

>Kenya: 97.5%

Interestingly the USA sample is from Atlanta so they are almost certainly negroid. The Canada sample is from a small community in Nova Scotia, meaning maybe whites, or maybe red Indians. Either way, it is surprising to see the Atlanta negroids outperform them. On the other hand, it is also surprising to see the American negroids perform diametrically opposite from their African cousins.

Racist sisters… were we wrong about the mirror test? Maybe it’s just testing two variables (X) are you old enough, and (Y) have you seen a mirror before.

While middle income blacks do exist in Atlanta, most of the black population is low income. Since the study in Atlanta was on middle income children, there's a good chance they were non-black.
My guess is that they conducted the study at Emory University as Harvard researchers would likely have connections there. If that's the case, pulling children from the surrounding area where families of those working at Emory or the CDC live would net mostly white and Asian children (and possibly some Jews from Druid Hills). But that's a guess so we really don't know the racial makeup of the test subjects.

Did anyone in this thread actually read the methodology? There's no control for education or opportunity that the children have had. In the brief for Experiment 1 (Kenya) it explicitly calls out that while children are required to attend school at 3-4 years of age there is significant economic disparity.
