The science must be respected. That's what science means.

i, too, blame others for my misunderstanding and shortcomings
it's easier that way

You appear to have a fundamental misunderstanding of the purpose or outcomes of science

It is you who misunderstand. You can’t challenge the pronouncements of Science. Your life will be ruined, and you might even go to jail if the Science you challenged happened to be part of an important current political narrative. I think that the idea that Science could ever be challenged is probably mostly myth and similar to dictatorial hellholes calling themselves Democratic Republics.

so true. so many on this board even espouse those talking points. It's so tiring.

Anonymous No. 16087396

is there a reason /sci/ has a bunch of people that bend over for established authority when the rest of 4chan is normally so contrarian. Is /sci/ truly, a reddit board?

>established authority
that's politicians anon, not scientists. scientists execute or get exiled. you're barking at the wrong tree

Anonymous No. 16087410

>>16087405
this is a clear attempt of politics to demonize science and shift blame. it's braindead simple

which is what? (apart from using sciency sounding narratives to control the monkeys)

Can you share some examples of this occurring?

To test and provide evidence for things. Some people seem to misinterpret it as absolute proof in all cases though, and then proceed to either announce it as proof or ridicule science generally if contradictory evidence comes to light. Both people are not understanding the purpose of the information

It's quite the opposite. /sci/ completely rejects science to a level which would be unimaginable in other boards. It's like /p/ being full of threads that photography is a sin and paintings are the only acceptable way to depict something.

How dumb do you have to be to have people tell you that's a fake image like 100 times now but you just keep posting it anyway. Disgraceful

nobel prize winner had to resign after saying race is real
even though dogs have hundreds of races each differing significantly
but somehow western negroids, eastern negroids, asiatics, and caucasoids, and amerindians are somehow all "the human race".
