High speed rail is just like a normal rail except its designed to be much straighter, with elevated paths and tunnels to cross across streets and obstacles. The track is also built better with rails bolted to a concrete base, rather than tied to wooden ties loosely set atop crushed rock. Makes 200 KPM no problem.
