What video games do people with 130+ IQ play? Factorio? Paradox titles?

If you play complex games, does that make you smarter?

video games are for children, if you're playing them as an adult its because you have arrested psychological development. before the term "retarded" became stigmatized, "arrested psychological development" was referred to as "retarded psychological development".
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arrested_development
>the UK's Mental Health Act 1983 used the term "arrested development" to characterize a form of mental disorder comprising severe mental impairment, resulting in a lack of intelligence

Not the same poster. I don't mean childish pursuits in a negative connotation, only that they're escapist tendencies not suited for successful individuation necessary to overcome adult life. I only want what's best for you, OP.

I have 141 IQ and don't play video games since I turned 21. I now read books and listen to classical music instead

Books can be videogames. Hell, a lot of the books I read nowadays are videogames. Sexy, sexy videogames. Sometimes they even have classical music. Sexy, sexy classical music.

Anon some of my most retarded acquaintances have beaten those shitty games, I unironically had more trouble with Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse than I did with a 20fps Demon Souls on a shitty CRT

Anyway is Hearts of Iron actually any good? I think I got it during a humble bundle at some point but I've never heard anyone talk about it.

Sure, but then you would also have to say the same thing about any game, including Chess, recreational puzzles/math etc.

In fact, if we're talking "escapism" that includes most leisure like reading too (that includes non-fiction books, because they are often read to gain experiences you would not be having personally in your own life and this is a form of escapism).

Can we all agree on that?
